Rana FM is a Pashto radio station located in Eastern Ontario.

First, Rana is looking for radio presenters. You must be able to create entertaining/dynamic radio. You will inform listeners, host programs, and interact
with the audience.

Rana FM is also looking for Pashto Language Radio Journalists. The successful candidates will report to the head of news, research and prepare bulletins for broadcast, and
present bulletins “on air”.

These positions require you to be able to speak, read, write, and translate, English to Pashto. You must also be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant. A relevant degree or diploma, as well as experience would be an asset.

You would initially be paid for 25 working days for a probationary/testing period at $120 per 7.5 hr work day plus
lodging and meals.

You would be initially hired as a contractor.

If successful you will be offered a subsequent 90 days contract at $3300 per month as a government of Canada casual employee.

You must pass Pashto language testing and security screening. In house training will be provided.

Note you may have to work outside normal hours as well as on weekends.
This position is for Canada only, and does not require travel to Afghanistan
