January 14, 2010:  Listen Here - This week's topic Kandahar city's master plan, its implantation and the residents’ reaction. Many houses, shops and markets are demolished according to the plan. What do the owners say and want from the municipality? Will they be compensated? Is the municipality building road in the city? What does the city authorities say about that? Listeners talk about these issues.

January 21, 2010:  Listen Here - This week, the new cabinet and the Kandahar’s new Provincial Council who have just started their new term. People talk about their experience during the previous term, their expectations and disappointments with the members of the provincial councils and the cabinet. Zarghuna Kakar, the re elected member of the PC speaks to our reporter and addresses the listeners’ criticism.

March 04, 2010:  Listen Here -  Both Islam and the Afghan constitution give women the right to education, work and choice in marriage, but the social customs subject women to early marriages, abuse, cruelty and neglect.

March 18, 2010: Maternal Mortality.  Liisteners discuss the reasons of highest moratlity rate in Kandahar. Reasons suggested:  lack of health facilities, families’ inhibition in sending women to doctors, early marriages and illiteracy in general.

April 01, 2010: The greening of Kandahar.  Programs for planting trees in Kandahar.

April 08, 2010: Listeners, men and women complain about high bride price which makes many young men go abroad for work, or even in some cases kill themselves. All are suggesting that girls should not be married before age of 18. All men and women ask parents to consult their children about their future partner and not to marry th eir girls in exchange of higher bride price to old married men. A religious mullah from Kandahar also talks about Islamic law concerning minimum bride price and modest expenses in weddings.

April 15, 2010: Listeners talk about child marriage, the reasons for it, its consequences and negative impact on families. They consider economic constrains and some old tradition responsible for child marriages. Women who have been married very young or have married their daughters in childhood talk about their experience and encourage parents to let their children study instead of selling them for money.

April 22, 2010: Listeners considered education, good manners, respect of the elders and parents, and taking part in building the society as the characteristics of a model youth. Young girls who were the first in their families to enrol in schools considered themselves good role models.

April 29, 2010: Youth Fashion.  All young people who were interviewed or called said that fashion was good but it should be within the Afghan and Islamic culture. They didn’t like the influence of Indian movies and western fashions on young men and women. Cleanliness was suggested as an Islamic value and an important part of fashion.
